Mykonos in Tarpon Springs

My family and I went Sunday for dinner. There were 15 of us. I cannot say enough good things about the service, the food, the atmosphere--- it was all great. We ordered several carafes of wine - as well as water for everyone. Appetizers were delivered in a very timely manner and Evelyn made sure to let me know when she would be lighting the saganaki (flaming cheese) so that I could get a picture. Everyone ordered and all of the food was delivered correct and not one person had an issue with their food. (That alone speaks volumes of the kitchen and waitstaff).

It is good restaurant BUT It NOT keeping 6 ft between tables. It is not safe for Covi 19.

Best Greek food around, yummy cheese appetizer, eggplant and lamb. I ordered the shrimp over rice it was so delicious and came with soup. Highly recommend!!

Amazing Authentic Greek Food! We called and they brought it out to the car. Thank you! Sorry I didn't tip more! The gyros were excellent we had one lamb and beef and one just chicken. Yum we had the sandwiches. The rice and potatoes and Greek salad with potato salad was fantastic. The Baklava was to die for. Thank you! Tip well Folks these guys are not at full capacity and need our support. Highly recommend togo or eat in. Yummy!!

Amazing authentic Greek food. Everything was delicious. The servers were all very nice and accommodating. I even met the owner/ chef Mr Andrea. A very nice guy.

They say it's the best Greek food down at the Sponge Docks. The chicken rice soup is THE BOMB and so are the lemon potatoes!

Food is great. Wasn't all that busy but I still ended up waiting 30 minutes just to get water and my order taken, then ab 30 just to get a Gyro and fries.Who cares about great food when you are sitting waiting all day for it?

One of the top Greek restaurants in Tarpon Springs. High quality, consistent meals at reasonable prices. Needs some remodeling....if that is a problem for you. Bathrooms need big attention!!!

Old school Greek restaurant family style Open for indoor and outdoor masks mandatory in this city public enclosed spaces. Gyro platter can feed four,comes with substantial order of soup and one flatbread. Tzatziki sauce is homemade with coleslaw cabbage. Delicious plentiful and parking is free .good place to eat then walk the sponge district.

The food was amazing, the service was great, quintessential Greek flavors beautifully executed with generous portions I couldn't stop eating. Can't wait to come back.

Marina knocked our socks off with gracious service and perfect food recommendations. The grilled shrimp, calamari, and octopus appetizer was enough for a meal but I still went strong on the combination platter. 5 stars aren't enough!!!

The place to go for smelts so good. The gyros are fabulous and so is the souvlaki.

Absolutely no distancing going on here. Everyone talking at the top of their lungs from crowds and noise. Scary.

Great Food and great service!

This is a MUST on your Gulf Shore adventure. True Greek food in a true greek neighborhood. I have been a returning patron for 5 years now. Easily affordable, and well worth more.

Authentic Greek cuisine, the Moussaka was extraordinary. My dinner came with a ridiculously good lemon chicken orzo soup, OMG. The Gyro platter was just as delicious. The gave a complimentary dessert of sliced pear with honey and cinnamon. Wow that was great. The staff was friendly, courteous and pleasant. The service was fast, our cups were never empty, and the food came out hot and fresh. I will be back again soon. A must stop in and try if you are near Tarpon Springs.

Mykonos is probably one of my favorite restaurants for Greek food in this area. This past Sunday we visited the restaurant for dinner. The food we ordered was great as usual, but I was disapointed to see that almost all the waitresses had face masks, but wearing them around their neck. As cuatomers it is quite diffucult to eat with a mask, so I would expect that the waitresses wear these masks to protect them from us and protect us from them. We will not be going back until they improve their safety requirements to keep the customers and staff safer.

Perfect place to eat in tarpon springs. Free private parking. Great selection of authentic Greek dishes, served fresh and hot. Very friendly and consistent food and service.

I used to live in Mykonos and this restaurant brought me lovely memories with their restaurant and amazing food!!! Best Gyro I’ve had in the US!! Love Mykonos!! 💙

Outstanding cuisine! Great service, the food was fresh and quick to the table. My family and I visit Mykonos every time we vacation to Florida and will continue to do so as long as the doors are open.

Amazing service! Great Chicken Souvlaki sandwich! Not horribly extensive either. Loved here 2 years or so and this is my go to for Greek food and for casual dining that is guaranteed to impress tourists.

Excellent food, generous portions, reasonable prices, and congenial service. They even gave us a yummy complimentary dessert of sliced apples with honey and cinnamon. Will definitely return again next time I visit Tarpon Springs.

Small place but very welcoming. The moussaka was incredible and the greek salad was very fresh. Hard to find a busy kitchen that still can maintain quality and homemade flavors. If you want a nice simple and delicious lunch or dinner. Try them, younwill not regret it. Very friendly service.

No customer service skills ever! The food is average at best, and completely over priced. They put no money into the restaurant, it's crowded and dated.

I think that is the best you can find in the USA In the area of Florida as it concerns Greek food. It's not like Greece but close enough. The owner very friendly and the service good. Atmosphere good with Greek music playing in the background but they have to update music to something newer. Parking good. I suggest you visit the place.

Combination platter, gyros and saganaki

I'm Greek and have been to most of the Greek restaurants in Tarpon Springs. They are all very good but my favorite is Mykonos. The service was excellent. The food, authentic Greek recipes and the prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants. Love the atmosphere as well, very relaxed with Greek music in the background. Also most of the customers were Greek which in itself is a strong endorsement!!

I just ordered food for take out from here. This is my first time and I would never go back $27 dollars for calamari what is chewy and gross with a salad that feeds 1. never again

They light cheese on fire at your table. That should be it. That should be all it takes for you to come to Mykonos. But is it enough for you? Are you satisfied? No, of course not. You need more. How about this? Their calamari is the absolute best you’re ever going to have in your uneventful and flavorless life. You understand? This ain’t some rings of fridge who knows what. This is squid. Full on squids. The other food is good too, but honestly if flaming cheese and the best fried squid you’ll ever have doesn’t interest you, then I don’t know what to tell you.

This is my favorite destination for Greek food in Tarpon springs. The lamb shank fricassee is the best I have ever had. The wait staff are very friendly and accommodating.

FIRST THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! THE SERVICE WAS FABULOUS!!!! MORE IMPORTANTLY, WE WERE VISITING THE AREA FROM OUT OF TOWN. WE FORGOT OUR PACKAGE AT THE RESTAURANT AND DIDN'T REALIZE IT UNTIL WE ARRIVED HOME. WE CALLED AND SPOKE TO NICHOLE. SHE FOUND OUR PACKAGE. SHE OFFERED TO SEND IT TO US. WE SENT HER THE ITEMS NEEDED AND SHE PROMPTLY SENT IT. FIRST HER HONESTY FOR TELLING US SHE FOUND IT. 2ND FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR US! WE GREATLY APPRECIATE IT AND WILL ALWAYS GO THERE WHEN WE ARE IN THE AREA...... HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE 😁

Getting together with good friends and having great food is what going Greek is all about! The service was there but not intrusive, friendly and accommodating. Look forward to many return meals.

Got takeout for lunch from here. Food was good, but our order wasn’t what we thought we had ordered. Turns out there was some confusion between their current menu and what was posted online. We called to see if we could get it replaced as it was nothing like what was described online, and my boyfriend was met with very unkind management. We also work in the food/restaurant industry so I don’t understand why when we were polite and understanding with them that they wouldn’t give us the same, I understand the annoyance but we were very reasonable. A bit expensive for Greek food compared to where we’ve been before. Worth the try, just wish they could be work on their service a little and be kind and understanding to their customers. Patience and understanding goes a long way. :)

The best authentic greek food in town...

Busy holiday weekend in Tarpon. We happened to walk in and get a table right away. Very authentic Greek food. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. They started us off with a huge basket of home made bread. We shared half a carafe of Greek white. The best fresh fried calamari you’ve ever had and of course the famous Saganaki flaming cheese. We ordered lamb chops to share and it came with soup and we chose peas as a side. We couldn’t finish anything it was so much food. Not to mention super cheap. The best value for the most authentic fresh Greek food!

Amazing food and service! It's like being in somebody's Greek home. Can't go wrong with the gyro platter or any seafood dish! If you are in Tarpon Springs, you have to stop by. If you live a bit far, it is worth the drive for authentic Greek food.

Authentic and pretty good. I liked the Athenia Chicken. We also had fried calamari which tasted fresh and delicious. The Greek fries were not my favorite but overall experience the staff was very friendly, attentive and we were seated right away on a busy Sunday after church.

Love this place. So authentic and the best Greek seafood around. Love the menu choices and the greek salads are a delight. I had the Mykonos Grouper - highly recommend this dish if you are in the mood for a savory fish dish. Fast and friendly service to boot. Nothing to complain about here.

The food was amazing! The area is great! I would recommend the owners hang some sound absorbing art up as across our round table it was a bit hard to hear everyone in our party.

Small place inside but clean and smells awesome inside. Waitress was friendly, attentive and helpful. Had shrimp Greek style with rice and a chicken lemon soup both were fantastic. Price a little high but totally inline for area as it is in heart of Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks. 100% eat here again.
